Why I made this costume:
decided to do this costume because I was going to ACen 2006 with two guy friends who were dressing as KoF all weekend. I wanted to be able to cosplay with them, but I also didn’t want to wear the same costume all weekend. I love Bonne Jenet cause she’s hot sexy,and a pirate! You don’t get much better then that. So I wore my Mai costume again and did Bonne Jenet.

How I made it:
The day after my birthday my mom and I went to SR Harris and I found a very delightful purple lycra and I hideous puce spandex and got those. I took a basic dress pattern to make sure I didn’t make the dress huge and cut it out and altered it to high hell. It was still enormous and I had to take it in about 10 inches because I’m horribly paranoid things will be too small. I made the skull and cross bones out of satin peau and wonder-under. I recommend it. It was very easy and looks awesome.

post Convention thoughts:
I had an awesome time running around in this costume. I enjoy wearing costumes that seem to make the people think twice about asking for a picture. I had a ton of guys hand the camera to a female friend so they could get the picture for them. I think a lot of people are worried about seeming like pervs. All and all i was very happy with the way it turned out, I'm sure it'll be a good back up costume.
