When Anime Detour first started, I informed my family about this new convention right by our house. To my surprise my family was interested in coming and seeing what this weird hobby I have is all about. How could I resist? I got to Dress my 9 month old nephew in the costume of my choice, and my Sister to match him, So I picked Salt and Pepper from Snow Fairy Sugar.

This was a hard costume to make, it seemed everytime I sat down to work on it I became overwhelmed by how tiny it was and became and puddle of girly-ness. I had a really hard time with the hat because I can't do anything easily and just measure the kids head, no no no!! I have to guess and repeat. He was a huge hit at the convention, I'm really glad I had him.
