I wanted to do something from FFX-2 but I didn't want to do something that everyone else did. So my choice was based on two things, 1.) Lesley made a Yuna WHM, so I wanted to make a WHM also 2.) my mom looked through my FFX-2 art book and picked Paine's WHM out for me. At first I didn't really want to do Paine, but we had a friend who was going to do Rikku so that left me with Paine. After I finished it I realized a look at lot like Paine and now I love the costume.

Funny you should ask... this costume was a huge pain in a the butt. all of the detail and the different colored patterns are made out of wool felt and all of it is handstitched down for a very nice quilted look. I had the pattern for the robe myself and it's all one piece. there really wasn't a good way to do her costume without making it one piece, if it wasn't one piece the robe would fall open and I just found it easier. After the 80 some hours I put into this costume, I hem it and realized it was to short, so needless to say I was kinda pissed, but oh well, I'll find a way to add the length, hopefully.
