Why I made this costume:
Once again, I love fighting game costumes. Please don't think that means I'm any good at them, because I'm not. I made this costume the night before Anime Iowa 2004. Needless to say is was AWFUL! The only real reason it took me 40 hrs is because I had to remake it so it looked something like the character. Oh well, for being one of my first costumes, and magically one that an important piece didn't go missing from, I'm rather fond of it.

How I made it:
Note, check the price on the perfect fabric before you get it cut and your standing at the register only to find out it's $20 a yard. luckily I only needed two yards. I made the top out of scuba material, it's very stretchy but holds it's shape VERY well. the zipper also stays in place. really I'm very happy with the costume. I'll wear it again once i loose 10 lbs:-P

post Convention thoughts:
Yeah, at Anime Iowa I was quite a bit smaller then when i wore the completed version at Anime Detour. so I don't have any pictures from that convention. I probably shouldn't have even worn it, but I had no other costume to wear. Oh well, it's all in the past.
